For the last few months 24 Central Ontario Rotarians and friends of Rotarians from Ontario and British Columbia have been preparing for their trip to Cambodia. Lisa McCoy, a member of the Rotary Club of

Gravenhurst, is the lead person for Rotary Wheels for Learning (RWFL). Lisa has been in Cambodia since last October preparing for both this project and the "Build Project" lead by Mike Kinsey, of the Rotary Club of Barrie-Kempenfelt. Helping youth and their families is the goal of both Rotary projects. This blog will follow the team's activity for friends, families and supporters of RWFL. Without the support of many caring persons who raised funds to buy and refurbish the 1000 bicycles as well as dental supplies, eyeglasses, reusable grocery bags and school books we will be distributing, we would not be able to serve those most needy in this far-away part of our world. These photos were taken one cold snowy day in December!
